Within the hours of 6pm – 11pm yesterday the 18th of July, 2015; the entertainment industry makers of the city of Port Harcourt marched in numbers to the prominent Eddys wine bar at G.R.A. Port Harcourt where the supposed ‘INDUSTRY NITE’ event, powered by Smirnoff ice was meant to hold; putting up peaceful protest, displaying grievance and expressing their annoyance as regards the height of neglect and marginalization PH industry has been experiencing lately.

A notable point stated by one of the protesters was that such an event was going down in the city and it didn’t recognize an industry of Creative and talented artistes in Port Harcourt.

Thus the reason of the protest was to keep some balance in the industry.
Just as the protest became intense, the management of Eddys wine bar went into a dialog with Lady I.B, Barry Festus, Cash Krop and a host of all other prominent entertainer(s) which includes, musicians, video directors, bloggers, comedians and djs to mention but a few.

After everything both parties came to a conclusion that: 2 artistes will be allowed to perform and paid a reasonable amount of money for their performance(s) and The INDUSTRY NITE platform shall work pari passu with the PH Ent. industry.
