Its so sad to bring this news to you….
One of Niger Delta’s best vocalist and singer, PEAK, recently lost her elder sister to the cold hands of death, after a lil illness.
“Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them”.
Here’s what PEAK had to say to ThaUkwuBenda when asked about the issue..
“My beloved Elder Sister has been sick for some time now, Her husband and the whole family has been taking care of her and praying for a quick recovery. Not until we got a call from her husband in the early hours of Sunday 10th Aug 2014, saying my Sister has just kicked the bucket.
That was heart broken and a day-crusher, cause my whole day was poured to the ground after the news, we all cried in pain and was broken hearted.
She died of Diabetes and its the same illness that took my loving Mum from us last year, so painful to know that we lost two members of the family to Diabetes.
Well, I put all in God’s hands cause HE know better and why. May their souls rest in the bosom of the Lord in Jesus name, Amen.
ThaUkwuBenda thanks for giving me this time to express myself to my friends and fans.”
Peak is presently at her home town (Brass Local Government of Bayelsa State) to pay her last respect.
What ever the case may be, we all pray that the Almighty God gives her the fortitude to bear the sudden & painful loss.
The life of the dead is indeed placed in the memory of the living.
